Suzanne Little is a sought-after sustainability consultant and also an award-winning environmental author with over 40 years of experience. Currently, she is Chair of a Community Consultative Committee for a NSW industry with an environmental protection licence under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997. This is an appointment on behalf of the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. Suzanne was a key member for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games where she served as the Environment Director and delivered Australia’s first sustainable development via the Olympic Coordination Authority. Sydney’s venues were the first Green Games in the world. In addition, she was appointed to several roles within government, such as being on the inaugural Board of the Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority. She has drafted governance policies & procedures, and set frameworks for emerging environmental standards in building & development as a board member of National Standards Development Organisation (NSDO). Her role as the Vice President of EIANZ's Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) was influential in bringing about the Certified Environmental Practitioner scheme for Australia.
