Lou is also a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering for the Master of Science in Operations Management program, where he teaches Maintenance Management, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, and Industrial Safety and Health Regulations. His academic work is firmly grounded in real-world practice, integrating LEAN, Six Sigma, ERP systems, and reliability-based maintenance principles.
Previously, Lou held senior leadership roles overseeing operations and maintenance for hundreds of government and defense facilities nationwide, managing multi-site teams, complex maintenance portfolios, and mission-critical assets. At the end of the program, there will be a Chartered exam comprising 50 multiple choice questions. Upon passing the exam, you will be accredited with Certified Preventive Maintenance Leader (CPM™) designation.
