Global supply chains are operating under unprecedented pressure. Nine out of ten organizations experienced supply chain disruptions last year, while cumulative disruption losses can approach 45% of one year's profits over a decade. Mastering supply chain disruption is no longer a defensive necessity—it is a source of proactive risk mitigation, operational continuity, and lasting competitive advantage in an era of unprecedented volatility.
This certified program is designed to arm you with the knowledge and command needed to master supply chain disruption and risk management. You will move through the core disciplines that define the field—strategic risk assessment, disruption forecasting, and advanced resilience planning—gaining not only sharp theoretical insight but the practical tools to identify vulnerabilities, anticipate shocks, and architect resilient networks across global operations. You will emerge able to build comprehensive mitigation strategies, deploy early warning systems, and lead your organization's response to any crisis with confidence—fluent in the interdependencies of modern supply chains and decisive in crafting adaptive solutions for a fast-changing world.
The program then moves into the specialized techniques that separate leaders from practitioners: supplier risk evaluation and diversification, business continuity planning, and crisis response management. You will sharpen your command of scenario planning while mastering the digital tools that deliver real-time visibility through AI and predictive analytics. Geopolitical risk assessment, sustainability, and stakeholder communication run through every module, preparing you to design and evaluate strategies that align with your organization's objectives and the highest industry standards. By the final session, you will be fully equipped to take on senior supply chain leadership—driving resilience and safeguarding continuity with strategic foresight and operational excellence.
Upon completing the program and passing the Chartered exam, you will earn the Certified Global Supply Chain Disruption and Risk Management Leader (CGS™) designation, a globally recognized credential that validates your ability to manage disruption, strengthen continuity, and lead resilient supply chain operations. More than a qualification, it establishes your professional authority and positions you as the trusted leader organizations rely on to strengthen supply chain performance and drive resilience in an increasingly volatile global business environment.
(Hussein Ghazi will be conducting the Africa sessions, Dr. Michael Stevens will be conducting the European Union and Canada sessions.)

Organizations can no longer afford to treat supply chain resilience as routine contingency planning. More than 43% of organizations have suffered supply chain disruption caused by third-party failures, a stark reminder of how quickly risk cascades across interconnected networks. Without stronger visibility and coordinated response capabilities, a single supplier failure, cyber incident, or logistics bottleneck can threaten continuity, profitability, and hard-won customer confidence.
This certified program equips you with the practical expertise to anticipate disruption, evaluate supply chain exposure, and protect business continuity across complex global networks. You will strengthen your command of enterprise risk frameworks, resilience planning, and supplier risk governance, and master the digital technologies that improve operational visibility and support timely decisions. These capabilities will help you reduce commercial exposure, sharpen organizational preparedness, and respond to emerging threats with confidence.
Throughout the program, you will learn to conduct robust risk assessments, develop targeted mitigation plans, and strengthen continuity strategies. You will explore how AI, predictive analytics, and scenario planning elevate risk intelligence, while a deeper command of ESG expectations, regulatory compliance, and governance equips you to build supply chain operations that deliver sustainable performance.
A defining strength of the program is its relentless emphasis on real-world application. Through major disruption scenarios, you will examine hard-won lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Suez Canal blockage, and escalating geopolitical conflicts. Case studies featuring Fortune 500 companies reveal how leading organizations manage critical vulnerabilities, strengthen resilience, and accelerate recovery, so you can translate proven approaches into stronger strategies and more decisive executive action.
Upon completing the program and passing the Chartered exam, you will earn the Certified Global Supply Chain Disruption and Risk Management Leader (CGS™) designation. This globally recognized credential validates your expertise in supply chain resilience, disruption management, and enterprise risk management. Highly valued by employers, it proves your capability to strengthen organizational resilience, manage complex supply chain risks, and lead with confidence in an increasingly uncertain global business environment.
